Stan and Shelley Sypko

Proprietors and your Hosts!

aka: guest lookerafterers, cleaners, gardeners, booking specialists, paper work jugglers, pizza chefs and all round good guys!(And, we don't mind the odd drop of the local!)

In his spare time, Stan works for the Water Corporation in Mount Barker.Stan is oringinally from Maitland in the Hunter Valley NSW, and after travelling Australia, settled down in Perth in 1993. After choosing the Porongurups to live, he hasn't looked back and is now an animal feeding, fence mending, hammer wielding demon, who along with John, have done much of the "manual" work on the property.

Shelley is Perth born and bred. She is the "ideas" person, web page updater, shopping master and the main Cloud Nine employee! Apart from looking after our little dream, Shelley also takes care of the two little Sypkos, Skye and Jade, as well as the furry creatures on weekdays.In her spare moments, Shelley loves craft in all it's forms and the odd bushwalk. Shelley is Secretary of the Porongurup Promotions Association, who run the Wine Festival, and is usually pretty up to date with local happenings.

John, now retired from years of Prison Officer work, is the hardest working person we know. If there's nothing to do- he will find something! Originally from Scotland and immigrating to Australia with Ann in the late 60's, he is enjoying life "on the farm" and is Shelley's godsend when Stan is at work!John is also very proficient at animal feeding, plant planting, fence mending, linen picker-uppering, bathroom cleaning, BBQ scrubbing, wine tasting and dog minding.

Ann is retired from the Public Service, and is now in Cloud Nine Service! Not only does she fufill the role of Mum and Grandma, but also as Shelley's "secretary" when needed. Her many skills include phone answering, booking clerk, retail therapy master, cleaner of brilliance and is Shelley's sounding board for her many ideas, and has been known to have had a few ripper ones of her own!
